Saint Paraskevi was tortured in the hope of rejecting Christ, and a burning helmet was put on her head. She was then thrown into prison again with a large rock placed on her chest, however her love for Christ was stronger than these tortures.

While she was in prison and during her tortures, Saint Paraskevi Prayed to Christ to give her strength to endure this Martyrdom, and He did, He was with her the whole time.
