The Service of the Sanctification of the Waters is a Prayer service for the Blessing and healing of our body and Soul, livestock and property. Through the Prayers of the Priest and the faithful, the water becomes Sanctified by the Holy Spirit, and we Bless everything around us with this Holy Water.
Holy Water Blessings can be Prayed for many situations including for the Blessing of a home, shop, new business, the beginning of the school year, crops, farms, livestock, vehicles, the beginning of each new Month and the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Fasting is not a prerequisite to drink Holy Water, but usually we drink it on an empty stomach, like we would when we are coming to Church to Commune.
The Small Blessing of the Waters
This Service is Prayed in Church at the beginning of each Month, and also at any time for a Blessing throughout the year. The Holy Water is taken home in a bottle and drank by the faithful each morning as a Blessing.

The Great Blessing of the Waters
This Service is Prayed on the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord in the Jordan, and the Holy Water from the Great Blessing is to be kept at home and we drink it on a rare ocassion. Usually we drink Great Holy Water which has been blessed at Epiphany when:
- we are very ill (physically, mentally, spiritually)
- when we have a penance and not allowed to receive Holy Communion
- when we feel attacked demonically
- when we are unable to go to Church and receive Holy Communion
In any other situation ask your Spiritual Father for a Blessing.
