After his resurrection, Saint Lazarus could not eat any food without first putting something sweet on it, because he experienced death and saw the pain of the Souls in Hades.

Saint Lazarus never smiled after his resurrection from the dead, except for one time when he saw a man stealing a clay pot, he smiled and said: “Clay stealing clay.”
