The Life of Saint Agathangelus: Agathangelus was a young man, about 18 years old, originally from Florina, who worked as a shoemaker in Bitola. Inspired by the Grace of God, Saint Agathangelus went to the royal palace and with pious words before the Turkish nobles pledged to stop the violent Islamization of the innocent Christians during Ramadan. With the help of God, the Saint managed to find mercy before the Agarian leaders and they abolished the persecution of the Christians during Ramadan, and issued a decree for that decision…
