Saint Simeon Pray to God for us.

Saint Simeon was born to a noble family, but when his parents reposed he lived his life as a beggar, wandering through villages, in Prayer and asceticism.

+

Saint Simeon would sew items such as half-coats, and walk through the villages and give them to the poor for free. At times he would deliberately fail to completely sew something such as a glove or scarfe, in order to receive abuse from his customers.

+

He would also speak to people about Christ, and his words were full of the Grace of the Holy Spirit.

+

Amongst his wandering around, Saint Simeon often settled in the Churchyard. He loved nature as this would raise his glance to the Creator of the world. Saint Simeon also really enjoyed fishing when he had some free time, because this reminded him of the disciples of Christ.

+

He reposed at 35 years old in 1642.
