Locked in prison and while in there they converted seven robbers to come to believe in Christ. The theives were Martyred in a cauldron of molten tar, wax and sulfur. Their names are Saturninus, Iakischolus, Faustianus, Januarius, Marsalius, Euphrasius and Mammius. The prison guard after witnessing their Martyrdom, declared himself a Christian and was Martyred.

+

Saint Kerkyra, the daughter of the governor, after hearing how the Christians were suffering for Christ, declared herself a Christian and gave away all her belongings to the poor.

+

Her father locked her in prison and sent a robber Murinus to go defile her, however when he reached the prison cell a bear attacked him. Saint Kerkyra called on the name of Christ and the bear left, then by her Prayers she healed the wounds of Murinus and spoke to him about Christ. Murinus then became a Christian and was Martyred. The governor then burnt down the prison but his daughter Saint Kerkyra remained alive, he then suspended her on from a tree, chocked her with smoke and shot her with arrows. She then gave up her Soul into the hands of Christ. The governor then decided to execute all Christians on the Island of Kerkyra, and the Martyrs Zeno, Eusebius, Neon and Vitalis, who were enlightened by Saint Jason and Sosipator, were burned alive.

+

Some Christians escaped to an ajoining Island, the govener then set sail after them but died in the waves of the sea. The govenor succeeding him then ordered Saint Jason and Saint Sosipater to be thrown into a cauldron of boiling tar. When he beheld them unharmed, he cried out with tears:

“O God of Jason and Sosipater, have mercy on me!

+

The Apostles then Baptised the governor who then helped Saint Jason and Saint Sosipater build Churches on the Island and preach Christ. They reposed at an old age.
